- The “Friends of
Byblos” Association is a non-governmental, non
profit, apolitical and non confessional
association, in the service of the long term
development of the humanistic values so proudly
held in Jbeil / Byblos in a peaceful environment
for more than 6000 years.
- Our non profit organization is recognized to
be of public utility by decree No 144 II dated
13/7/2001.
- Our ambition is to address, with your support
and generosity, the primary needs of our society
in the domains of health care, culture,
education, social solidarity, art and heritage.
- Our aims are to promote the development of the
area of Jbeil, of its human resources, and the
enhancement of its heritage through various
projects.
- We intervene on causes little or not taken
enough in to consideration by local
collectivities, the state, and international
institutions.
- We provide concrete and creative solutions to
the problems of our society.
- Our association is supported by goodwill
expert committees, and by the youth, who
elaborate the action plans and assume their
control.
We propose a varied choice of programs in
divers’ domains to our generous supporters who
are given the choice to select the center or
program they wish to support. |
